Our Doctor

​​​​​Dr. Jane Liang is a graduate of Illinois College of Optometry. She is a fellow of College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), an associate of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), and a member of American Optometric Association.

Dr. Liang has been in practice since 2001. She has devoted her time and effort in researching and treating conditions that cause reduction in vision, increase in nearsightedness, learning difficulties, and chronic headaches and dizziness. She receives referrals from other medical professionals, child development professionals, and educators. She is a consultant for LAUSD for special education and works with kids on the spectrum. She sees kids as young as 6 months old because proper visual development will prevent some conditions from developing as the child grows up.

Dr. Liang speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish. Since 2001, Dr. Liang has developed an extensive program for slowing down and reversing nearsightedness. Her method is comprehensive and wholistic in its approach. She also treats corneal conditions such as Keratoconus, Pellucid Marginal Degeneration, and traumatic corneal damages.

In the last 8 years, Dr. Liang has been working with patients with Retinitis Pigmentosa to help them regain some vision through Syntonics (light therapy) and nutritional supplements. They are now able to function without white cane and be able to live a modified independent life.

​​​​​Dr. Cheryl Yu received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine and completed her graduate studies at the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Yu is a member of the America Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association and is certified in Therapeutic Pharmacological Agents to treat glaucoma and various ocular diseases, Lacrimal Dilation and Irrigation, and Corneal Refractive Therapy.

Dr. Yu has had the opportunity to work in the private practice and private military practice settings. This has allowed her to work with a diverse group of patients with various different conditions. Having grown up in the San Gabriel Valley, she is also very familiar with the diversity that makes it unique.

​​​​​Dr. Cecilla Chiu, O.D. is a San Gabriel Valley native and graduated from UC Riverside with a B.S. in Biology. She received her doctorate of optometry degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Optometry. After her schooling, she returned back to the Los Angeles area to better serve the community that she grew up in. She is certified to use therapeutic pharmaceutical agents in treating glaucoma and other ocular diseases. Dr. Chiu is able to speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. When not working, she enjoys travelling, practicing yoga, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family
